How would you rate your son's Cub Scout experience this year? |
| How would you rate your son's Cub Scout experience this year? Start, Stop, Continue -->- Earning/Awarding/Reception of achievements awards has been a 'fuzzy' and unclear process. I expected our Tiger to receive 15-20 awards tonight and there were none presented. What's up with that? Now there are no more meetings, i.e., no recogition -->- continue lots of camping -->- providing an overview of activities and events carries out through the year for newbies - esp Tiger Den / Akela - Trailblazer campout - very difficult to participate in event within a day! esp. being in line, either make it for 2 days or add more equipment/resources -->- more Go See It activities -->- continue having Pack meetings about once every two months -->- appreciate leaders for their time and patience -->- My son has had a great time. My current work schedule caused us to miss a lot this year that we wont miss next year -->- very well organized, several activities, great leadership -->- good leaders and planning -->- Den Leadership change led to good organization, but lack of explanation to the boys of why they were doing what they were doing -->- keep up the great work -->- keep up the trips and overnighters -->- He has a great time and has learned many valuable lessons. As a first time Scout parent I had a little trouble figuring things out. It seemed to me the communications were for parents with "previous experience" |
